SolidWorks
Our CAD package is SolidWorks2007. SolidWorks opens, among others: dxf, dwg, parasolid, iges, step, catia, Solidedge, and Cadkey files.
SolidWorks is a true 3-D/solid model program, allowing dynamic moves, interference checking, and also offering sheetmetal (draw the 3-D finished piece and a flat-pattern layout can be generated).
SolidWorks operates hand-in-hand with COSMOS FEA, another service we offer.
It is installed on a Dell notebook workstation. In-work drafting/design work can be reviewed at your site. Or if your project is behind, our SolidWorkstation--with drafter/designer/engineer--can be brought in for an hour, a day, or longer as needed.
Our inhouse capabilities are color inkjet 11x17" (B-size) prints.
